Betel plant – Paan plant

A Betel plant is an evergreen and long-lasting, persistent creeper to 90 cm. it has shiny heart-shaped bracts (leaves) and white flower spikes. This plant originated in the South and the Southeast zone and is a vine of the ‘Piperaceae’ family that normally includes kava and pepper.
